The Resource Health Speakers Bureau is made up of passionate individuals who are equipped to help you empathize and identify with the men, women and children we have served over the past 26 years. We are hopeful and expectant that hearing their stories will resonate with the listener and provoke action that will impact the cause we all care so deeply about. When you engage the services of one of our speakers, information about our services will spread from the members of your audience into the communities where we serve. The impact we make together will continue to make a difference across generations.

Kathy Edwards
President & CEO
For over 25 years, Kathy’s heart beats passionately for the services we provide our clients. She will encourage and motivate audiences with testimonies that are taking place at Resource Health. Kathy will report how we are “winning” the battle against abortion in Kansas City. Her own personal journey is a powerful testimony of how God wants to heal and restore women and men from past decisions. In conclusion, Kathy will share opportunities for churches and businesses to partner with Resource Health and be a part of a pre-planned miracle!
Alissa Gross
Chief Development Officer
Alissa has spent the past 20 years serving in medical missions, local healthcare and public service in nonprofit organizations. Alissa’s niche’ and commitment is challenging young adults and students on the subject of life-affirming work. She is pioneering new, relevant curriculum for the clients of Resource Health and has been a key person in the growth of Resource Health services throughout Kansas City. Alissa’s daily conviction is to be the hands and feet of Jesus!
Lauri Phillips
Community Relations Coordinator
Lauri began serving Resource Health as a volunteer and then was hired as the Community Relations Coordinator in 2015. Lauri is the smiling face and liaison to our community and organizes Baby Bottle Drives with partnering churches. She is responsible for overseeing the flourishing Church Ambassador Program for Resource Health. Lauri is passionate about speaking to churches, small groups and civic organizations inspiring them to get involved in the life-saving services Resource Health provides.
Tammy Herzig
Board of Directors
Tammy is a speaker, a wife, a mom and most importantly, a grandma. She has been a Bible teacher with a deep love for the scriptures for over 30 years, but it wasn’t until the hurts of this world collided with the hope of God’s Word that her relationship with Jesus truly began. Tammy is an articulate and engaging spokesperson for the prolife position. Her well-crafted presentation is a balanced combination of real-life facts, personal experience and biblical truth. In addition to her communication skills, Tammy has extensive first-hand experience as a pregnancy resource center volunteer and as a board member. She brings great passion and clarity to her audience.
