David proclaims in Psalm 22:10, “from my mother’s womb, you have been my God.” Throughout scripture, it is said that God “knew” and “created” each of us in His image – before we were born! Therefore, we are commanded by God to protect and support life from the womb to the grave. Resource Health is a lifesaving ministry, fighting, advocating, and supporting the unborn as well as their mothers and fathers. Love and grace is given to whomever comes through their doors. I know that every dime we send to Resource Health is going towards the work of saving lives. I praise God for their ministry.
The scripture says in Psalms 139:13-16, "you knitted me together in my mother's womb, I was wonderfully made, in your book were written the days that were formed for me." God created each of us wonderfully. Grace Church's vision is to help everyone become an outward-focused follower of Jesus, and by partnering with Resource Health they help us accomplish our vision. They share the gospel, share hope, and help save 100's of babies' lives.
I am passionately pro-life because all human life is sacred from conception throughout the entire natural human life. Human beings are created in God’s image, and as such, are to be protected. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I believe strongly that the preborn, weak, vulnerable, handicapped, and needy deserve our respect and care. Antioch Bible Baptist Church financially partners with Resource Health because we share both a strong passion for life and a mission of making an eternal difference for Christ across generations. It is a privilege and joy to partner with Resource Health in this life-saving ministry!
I am pro-life. More clearly, I am anti-abortion. I am anti-abortion because God has designed each person and each life with purpose and meaning. I’m anti-abortion because of the devastation and trauma it causes so many women and men. I’m anti-abortion because there are so many families that wish they could conceive and have a child who would be more than happy to welcome a baby into their home and love them as their own. I’m antiabortion because I am FOR people…FOR women…FOR men…FOR babies! Discover Church is honored to be a part of the great effort that Resource Health has embarked upon to help each woman and man who are facing an unexpected pregnancy so they can know life is never a mistake and that Jesus can use anything to draw people to Himself.
It is God who grants life, not merely as a form of existence, but as a reflection of Himself. Each babe in the womb is an image-bearer. Every baby born is fashioned to mirror God in multiple ways. Pleasant Grove Bible Church fully supports the ministry of Resource Health as a part of their missions mandate to be engaged in preserving the sacredness of each precious life granted by God. Jesus said “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:3–4)
I believe that every person is created on purpose and for great purpose in the image of God, from conception to grave, and therefore has immense value. As we see in Luke 1:41, “at the sound of Mary’s greeting, Elizabeth’s child leaped within her, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.” Or in Jeremiah 1:5, “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.” We must raise our voices as image bearers and citizens of heaven to stand against this culture of death.
I am pro life because I believe in life and that all life is created by Jesus. I must say that it grieves me to think that we may have missed out on congressman, doctors, presidential candidates, and many great leaders and workers that could’ve come from all those who were aborted since 1973. And I am proud to support Resource Health because of their emphasis on helping people to understand that life begins at conception. I am especially pleased at how they deal with all their clients through the grace of God. I am convinced that no one goes away feeling unloved because of this ministry, regardless of their decision. That is the kind of grace that I believe will turn things around one day.
Every person is made in God’s image and is therefore endowed with dignity and value from their creator. It is for this reason that I am pro-life, from the moment of a person’s conception till their death. People’s value is not found in their worth to society, or even to others, but in their value in God’s eyes. At Northland Baptist Church we strive to be a church that isn’t just pro-life in name, but in action. It is our goal to not just proclaim the value of life, but to help those who are struggling with a crisis pregnancy. It is for this reason that we have partnered with Resource Health. Resource Health is concerned with the life of the mother, the father, and the unborn child. Being pro-life is more than just saying abortion is wrong but is coming alongside people who need the love of Christ both for themselves and their unborn child.
As a Christian, there is only one position when it comes to the issue of abortion and that is to be passionately pro life! This is not a political issue but a biblical issue. It’s a moral issue. As followers of Jesus our hearts should beat with the heart of God. And God’s heart beats for the heart of the unborn. Psalm 139:16 "Your eyes saw my substance, yet being unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them." At Abundant Life we are honored to support prayerfully and financially Resource Health. At Resource Health, lives are being saved everyday, both physically and spiritually, in ways that will echo eternally.
It is a privilege for us to have an opportunity to get to know you and to share with you the eternal work of Resource Health.
Our Scriptural mandate is found in Proverbs 24:10-12:
“Deliver those who are being taken away to death, and those who are staggering to slaughter, Oh, hold them back! If you say, “see we did not know this”, does He not consider it who weighs the heart? And does HE not know it who keeps your soul? And will He not render to man according to his work?”
In his book, Deliver Us From Abortion, author Brian Fisher makes this convicting statement:
“It was with surprise, shock, dismay, and even horror that I discovered that the American church, on the whole, is not actively defending and protecting innocent life. And in some cases, the church actually promotes abortion. In many churches, abortion is never mentioned from the pulpit. If abortion is discussed at all, it is once a year on Sanctity of Life Sunday, the sad reminder of the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade. Precious few pastors write about abortion, and few will publicly defend the unborn. Most denominations have no organized effort to assist families in a crisis pregnancy.”
Clearly God has entrusted “the church” with the responsibility to protect those created in HIS image and likeness. Resource Health is here to assist the church in accomplishing this mandate.
Together we are making a difference across generations,
